Slayers

Slayers are a race of aliens that serve The Beast in his conquering of planets. They are a strange worm-like creature with tentacles inside of a metallic shell as their body. Slayers a typically armed with a combination weapon that includes a projectile launcher on one end that shoots energised spikes and a spear blade on the other. Their tactic of fighting involves launching a volley of spikes to soften or kill the enemy and then close in to finish off any stragglers.

Despite their incredible resilience to damage, Slayers are not indestructible. If an attack is powerful enough, such as a spear thrown by a cyclops, the slayer will shut down and the symbiote worm will vacate its host's body.

Slayers are also the sworn enemy of the Cyclops, owing to their part in the downfall of their race from the Beast's 'gift'.
